the young life

Hi, my name is Michael Marchand and grew up in a loving family with two brothers, one of them is a twin. Me and my twin are fraternal and complete opposite personalities.

I live about 20 minutes away in Los Alamitos. I transferred here this semester from the Air Force Academy because I hated it and did not think it was worth it to stay there for lacrosse.

I am a midfielder on the lacrosse team at Chapman and started playing lacrosse my sophomore year in high school.

I love to play any sport or anything to do with outdoors stuff like climbing mountains or hiking. I love to snowboard, especially at Mammoth mountain because the park is the best. My family and friends are my life. I love just hanging out with the buddies and living life to the fullest because you'll never know what will happen next.

see you in class,
Mike

Me in a nutshell

My name's Elizabeth Heckmüller. I'm half Mexican half German hence the weird dots in my last name. I have a crazy family and amazing friends in my hometown Cypress that isn't too far from here. I just transferred to Chapman this semester from Long Beach City College with a major in health sciences and the intent to go into the physical therapy program here. I've played soccer my whole life and plan on playing next year for Chapman.Add Image

I have morals, but don't exactly play by the rules. Life's too short to hold yourself back. This mentality has gotten me in trouble a couple times in the past but it never got too bad and they're just interesting stories to tell now. I don't believe in living half heartedly. I think no matter what it is you're doing, you should give it your all. I don't like anything that ties me down and my biggest dream is to travel. It'd be a shame to die without seeing every inch of beauty in this world. I don't take much seriously. I'm just trying to have a good time with my head in the clouds and my feet on the ground.

Me

Hi my name is Jack,
I am a freshman at chapman from the east coast. I was born and raised in connecticut so, sunny weather in February is very new to me. I play water polo at chapman and have played for eight years. I am excited to learn how to blog because technology is the future of our generation. As Far as my writing goes I have been told by past professor that I have good ideas and bad grammar. I hope to add to this aspect in my writing through electronic writing. I am stoked to take part in this class.

Zar's Life

public class helloWorld{

public static void main (String args[])
{
System.out.println("Hello World!");
}

}

Opps...I kind of went off track there.

Well, my real name is Eleazar Orellana, I am widely known as "Zar." I picked that name because as you can see, my name is not really easy to pronounce.

So people generally say "Eliza," "Ilza," all sorts of pronunciations so I figured Zar would be the best solution to my problem. I am a second year here at Chapman and I am from Guatemala, which is a COUNTRY, not a city or place in Mexico, please get that right people.

I am 19 years old and I am currently a Resident Advisor here at Chapman University, which means that I live on campus and get to get people in trouble for fun. Not Really. Maybe Yes…No, really. It is my job.

Anyway, I think you should know that English is not my native language, so I do have an accent that a lot of people think is "cool," but you judge it yourself. Also, I feel you should know that I do make some mistakes when I write, so if I happen to do so, please let me know. I am gradually getting better at it. At least, I am happy with the fact that I am able to effectively communicate with everyone.

I am a double major in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration with a minor in Mathematics and Economics. I speak one and a half languages, Spanish and half English. Also, outside of Chapman, I work at Best Buy with Geek Squad and I get to deal with people all day.

YES! People with infected/broken computes...fun! Which in some way, gives me a lot of ideas to write about, since I always hear extraordinary stories of how their computer got wet, infected, dropped, etc. Really. You would not believe the kind of things I have seen or heard.

Just let me give you a couple of random facts about myself. Things that I love: Television, Video Games, Swimming, Water Polo, Soccer, Tennis, School, Friends, Fraternity Brothers, Girls, Pokemon, The Legend of Zelda, Mathematics, Computer Science (Programming - this might explain the opening of my introduction, it produces the phrase "Hello World"), Business and Economics.

Things that I do not love: Religion, awkward people, people that were given a mouth and do not deserve it (as in, making comments they think everyone cares about).....This list goes on, so I rather make my own time and write about it in the future.

That is all for now, if you have any questions, feel free to comment on this post. I have a lot of good stories about my life and how is that I got to be the dork that I am today.

About Me

My name is Brian Dorsey and I am a freshman at Chapman. I am from Philadelphia, PA where I live with my parents and an older brother, who is currently a senior in college. Some things I like to do for fun are play golf, produce music, and just hang out with friends. I am a business major here at Chapman with an emphasis on marketing, and I hope to work as a sports agent after I graduate. Other than that I'm pretty much just a normal kid, I like steak and SportsCenter.

About ME

Hello classmates and "bloggers."

My name is Tucker Cohen, and I am a transfer sophomore starting my first semester at Chapman U.
I was born and raised just north of Boston in the birthplace of the American Navy, Marblehead Mass.
For fun I like extreme/adventure sports, such as skiing, snowboarding, longboarding, surfing, wakeboarding, etc ...
I find it hard to get bored regardless of my environment. I played soccer at my old school in New Hampshire and am playing on the Lacrosse team here. I love music of just about any kind with the exception of country, and am always discovering and listening to new songs.
